Exagogica has a long experience in developing corporate level applications. This allows us to offer scalable solutions, updated to the requirements of the GDPR and equipped with high security standards.
At the same time, we have developed a significant sensitivity to the needs of end users in systems intended for large and very heterogeneous audiences (students, office users for employment, etc.). So we can create simple, intuitive and very practical front ends.
The set of our experiences turns into the characteristics of our applications.
Our systems adopt all the measures provided for by the Global Data Protection Regulation – GDPR for personal data protection (EU Regulation no. 2016/679).
The platform ensures:
- Digital identity secure management
- Minimization of user data exposure
- Data sets export availability
- Anonymization of data after the expected latency period
In addition to these specific measures, Exagogica guarantees the use of the SSL protocol on all managed servers and a strict disaster prevention and recovery policy that involves the use of certified server farms, data redundancy (RAID 1) and daily backup on external devices.
The data structure underlying the Exagogica applications is a fine transactional architecture (OLAP) designed to represent and manage all the possible activities that relate to the concept of skill in in a large transnational organization.
This extended model allows to represent the taxonomies of skills and job positions of different organization through simple configuration and without using proprietary data sets: SAP organization charts, Success Factors, ISCO / ESCO job descriptions, Atlante del lavoro, etc.
The Exagogica knowledge model offers also several “built in” Data Marts. This allows the Exagogica applications to be used also as Data Warehouse for archiving series of historical data (eg evaluation campaigns) without requiring other third-party software.
Exagogica systems allow the implementation of impressive drill downs on data managed. Depending on the focused area (company organization, production organization, professional families, skills, etc.), the system is designed to manage visibility scopes with a number of levels ranging from 5 to 7.
This allows our systems to provide an overview of large amounts of data (relating for example to all the plants of a multinational company) and allows to progressively move to the upper aggregations (country, business line, plant, department, unit, domain) down to to the single workstation.
And that is extremely speedy, thanks to the integration of the OLAP engine (transactional data managed in real time) with Data Marts (time-based or event-based stored data).
Another feature of our systems is the native integration with a visual chart library that generates graphic views of all the main tables presented by the application.
The combination of graphical representations with the powerful filter system allows you to better understand the data and compare them with each other. No exports or third-party software required.
The whole Exagogica platform is multilingual. The standard delivery language is English, but the support of additional languages is managed with libraries that can be installed at any time to extend the use of the system to users from different geographical areas. At the moment there are libraries for 10 languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Serbian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Turkish), but there are no limits to introduce additional languages, with any character set.
Our skill management systems also offer semantic multilingualism in knowledge base management. This means that all the entities that describe the know-how (sectors, areas, competences, skills, knowledge, skills) can be managed in multiple languages. By this way the application presents in the user’s language not only the functions, but also the contents.
Exagogica platform can estimate the skills of a person by analyzing his or her academic qualifications and work experience. It can also define the competence requirements of a job offer recognizing the required profession. These characteristics find application in the company know-how management systems (Skill center) and in the job market management system, too (Mundamundis).
A particular application is the Job scanner module, which is able to find job advertisements online, analyse them and semi-automatically publish them (after validation by the operator). In the Job scanner module, the recognition functions (defined as “Expert system” or first level artificial intelligence) are associated with an automatic learning engine.
Many functions of the Mundamundis user front end can be emulated by a character interface that simulates a natural language interview. The Beatrice chat-bot (robot able to chat) is thus able to carry out different types of interviews with the user, build his CV and his presentation, create the dataset of her skills, guide him in the search for new job opportunities.
Beatrice can also support enrollment in a service. For this reason, the chat-bot can be run within an iFrame called out from a public site: an elegant and efficient way to facilitate the access of new users to Mundamundis based services.
Most users of our systems log in on mobile devices. This is why our systems are responsive and are optimized first of all for smartphone screens.
This enables to access all our applications from mobile devices and perfectly use even the managerial dashboards of the managers’ profiles
The frontend of our apps can be encapsulated and released as a (non-native) app for Android or iOS. This enables notification management on smartphones and other personal devices, very useful for creating a dynamic relationship with the user.
The release of apps for mobile devices is mainly used in our projects for the job market, but it is possible for any type of application developed on Exagogica technology.
